Terms of Service

What our inspections cover, what they do not, and the terms that apply when you use our services.

Scope of an inspection

An inspection documents conditions observable within the scope of the service at the time of inspection and is not a guarantee of future vehicle performance. Items requiring disassembly, specialized testing, or further diagnosis are identified as such in the report.

An inspection is a visual and functional evaluation of components and conditions that are observable at the time of inspection, within the scope of the service selected. It is a snapshot of what was present and visible on that date.

What an inspection is not

  • Not a warranty or guarantee. An inspection does not guarantee the future performance, reliability, or condition of a vehicle. Mechanical components can fail at any time, including immediately after an inspection.
  • Not a state safety or emissions inspection. We are an independent inspection service. Our reports are not a state-mandated safety, emissions, or registration inspection and carry no regulatory authority.
  • Not a teardown. Inspections do not include disassembly, removal of components, or internal engine or transmission examination unless specifically agreed in writing.
  • Not a title or history report. We do not verify title status, liens, odometer accuracy, or accident history unless that is specifically included in the service you purchased.
  • Not an appraisal. We do not provide vehicle valuations or diminished-value assessments.
  • Not a purchase recommendation. We report what we observe. The decision to buy, sell, or repair a vehicle is entirely yours.

Limitations

Some conditions cannot be detected through observation alone. Intermittent faults, concealed prior repairs, internal wear, conditions requiring specialized diagnostic equipment, and problems that appear only under specific operating conditions may not be identified. Where we observe something that requires further diagnosis, we identify it as such rather than guessing at a cause.

Access matters. Weather, lighting, lift availability, the vehicle’s location, and restrictions imposed by a seller or auction can all limit what we are able to examine. Significant limitations are noted in the report.

Access and permission

You are responsible for arranging access to the vehicle and confirming that the owner or seller permits the inspection. If access is refused or the vehicle is unavailable when we arrive, the appointment may be subject to a trip charge.

Reports

Reports are prepared for the customer who requested them and reflect conditions observed on the inspection date. Reports should not be relied upon by third parties or treated as current after the inspection date, as a vehicle’s condition can change at any time.

Parts

Parts availability, pricing, and fitment are verified before an order is finalized. Information you provide about your vehicle — particularly the VIN — directly affects our ability to identify the correct component. Quotes are estimates until confirmed, and pricing and availability can change.

Returns, warranties, and exchanges on parts are subject to the terms of the supplier or manufacturer, which we will identify before an order is placed.

Vehicle sourcing

Vehicle sourcing, dealership, auction-access, brokering, financing, title, and related services are offered only where properly permitted and licensed. Availability depends on your location and the specific service requested.

Scheduling and payment

Service scope and pricing are confirmed before an inspection is scheduled. Payment terms, deposits, cancellation windows, and rescheduling are communicated at the time of booking.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any inspection, report, or parts service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including repair costs, loss of use, or diminished value.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
